Meanwhile, the cardioid mic is good for interviews, but in certain environments, the talent may always be a bit Constrained by the connecting cable running off them. It is advised that the XLR connector be attached to the talent’s belt or secured with adhesive tape. One user reported that it worked very well for podcasting. However, there was too much white noise in a quiet room, so the microphone kit would likely be better to use in more crowded environments. Another reviewer expressed the microphone was very noisy on their Zoom F6.
