The hardening process takes only a few hours, and the paint can be disposed of in the trash the very next day. It works on both latex and oil-based paints, although the latter requires more hardener per gallon and takes longer to harden. The only downside to this product is that it's a bit pricey, but it works well and is better than other products available in the market.
