The model is made out of plastic and some customers recommended using Testors spray enamel and clear coat for best results. The model car has good details which make it a great addition to any collection. However, one customer was disappointed that the model is not sold as a Trans Am and did not come with Trans Am decals as it was advertised in the Smokey and the Bandit movie. The customer gave the model kit 3 out of 5 stars for this reason.
