It allows for the creation of custom-generated IIR and FIR filters for both room equalization and crossover design. Although it may require some technical knowledge to use to its full potential, there are tutorials available to help guide users. The product has great value for tuning multiple subs for a home theater. One of its best features is BEQ/TR ability that AVS Members have developed. It is even better than a REW setup and taking measurements because it’s super simple to deploy on these miniDSP units. However, the 2x4HD official plugin is poorly executed and many users recommend using other free software utilities for best subwoofer performance.
