Bandai Hobby Star Wars 1/72 X-Wing Star Fighter Building Kit is an easy-to-build model that requires painting to match the actual ILM filming model. The model is easy to assemble, but the instructions are a little out of order in some spots. The kit comes with decals that can make the model look movie-accurate. According to one customer, it takes approximately an hour to build if it's built straight out of the box, but a serious modeler took a little over a week putting in about 3-4 hours of work each night. The stand is part of the model and only fits the X-wing, with its small stickers requiring an artisan's hand to make it look good. One customer asked if the product is safe for a saltwater aquarium, and the answer is no. One reviewer was disappointed that the orange pilot and blue R2-D2 were not molded correctly. In contrast, another reviewer noted that the product helps one concentrate and persevere, relaxes while doing it by parts, and is spectacular with a first-class material and perfect fit.
