The Boss RV-6 is a versatile reverb pedal that offers a variety of effects including spring, plate and hall room reverb, shimmer, dynamic and modulate. It has time, tone and level controls and can be modulated with an expression pedal. It also has mono and stereo in and outputs and effects pedal input. The RV-6 is more natural-sounding than the HoF 2 according to one customer. Another customer was impressed by the many different types of reverb textures and the price compared to the RV-5. A third customer found the RV-6 to be much quieter than his Fender Red Knob reverb tank. However, some customers recommend using a 9-volt adapter instead of batteries to extend its battery life.
