The handle comes with a metal and a silicon washer that needs to be placed at the bottom of the lid to protect the glass when screws are tightened. The product is easy to install and doesn’t take long, as per reviews from many customers. One possible downside to the product is the fact that the handle’s bottom isn’t arced to match the shape of the glass lid, causing a minimal gap which could affect the durability of the handle.
