The FLEXIMOUNTS 4x8 Overhead Garage Storage Rack is a medium quality, mediocre product. The wire grids on the floor panels are too light gauge which causes them to deform and sag with modest weight on them. The rack sways significantly and is not sturdy or stable. It needs bracing and some horizontal struts between the verticals to keep things from falling off, which is not ideal for those in seismic areas. The utility hooks provided are okay but the flat hooks can't carry much weight without bending. The rack package lacks an adequate suspension configuration to carry a fully loaded rack during major temblors, and sway bracing and plywood need to be added on the floor in order to make the system usable. While the installation process is fairly easy, it requires many bolts and Nylok nuts, so using an impact driver is recommended. It took approximately four hours to install by oneself. The value of the product is generally Considered fair to poor due to subpar quality and needed extras. Feedback provided by other customers who purchased the system is mixed.
