Product Details
- This mirror glass is FLAT (Same as Original Factory), and conforms to Highway Safety Acts in effect in the US and Canada. It is FLAT (no curvature) as specified by the act for the driver side that provides a distortion free 1:1 image.
- Note the fact that driver side mirror has to be flat by law. This glass is Automotive Grade flat replacement mirror glass. Actual picture shows mirror glass on top and adhesive at the bottom. This glass has no curvature or no line on the glass, exactly like the original.
- Includes double-sided Automotive Grade adhesive contoured to mirror shape that provides optimum heat transfer and easy installation. This feature is in contrast with small inefficient adhesive patches that fail shortly after installation, and leave air gap between bonding layer.
- Aluminum back coated real mirror glass for automotive application. This feature is in contrast with glasses with chrome paint spray film on top that look like mirror but top chrome spray fades or scratches over short time.
- Top Right to Bottom Left Measure: 7 3/8 in = 18.7 cm.
- No plastic backing plate bracket, heater grid, or electrical connectors attached on the back of the glass or included in the box.

CAR MIRROR BAZAR Exterior Mirror Replacement Glass 809LF Editorial Review
This replacement mirror glass is designed for the Volkswagen Tiguan from 2009-2014. It is only the lens, and does not include the plastic backing plate. Customers should check the shape and size of their current mirror before ordering to ensure proper fit. If the plastic backing plate is still intact, the replacement mirror can simply be attached using the full-sized double-sided adhesive provided. Customers have reported successful replacement of both sides of their vehicle. If the original mirror was heated, the heater grid would be part of the black plastic backing plate and if still functioning, should transfer heat through the adhesive to the new lens. If a complete heated mirror is needed, a different ASIN is required.
