The adapter can also be used for sand filters that have 2” hose connections and pumps that have 1 1/2” connections. Customers have not seen any problems using their sand filters with the adapter. However, it is important to note that the sand filter won't have much pressure. The ARU adapter can be used to connect your garden hose to pool discharge as well. The product comes in a pack of two and is inexpensive. It is heavy-duty and fits nicely.
