The Rockville RXM-S6 Marine/Boat 6 Channel Amplifier is a 12V DC amp and cannot be run off a drills 20 volt lithium-ion battery pack. The amp has Bluetooth connectability and can be used without the need for a deck or receiver. However, a few customers experienced a problem with the amp's Bluetooth causing the iPhone to go full volume when first connected. They hope for a solution to this problem. The amp works great and is very powerful. It comes with separate gain and crossovers to prevent distortion. But unfortunately, some customers reported that the amp was not worth the money and didn't even last a day or six months. They encountered issues while using the amp, and it went into protection mode. The speakers tested clean, and the operation was confirmed to be okay, but no tech support was available to help. This product was compared with other brands, and eventually, people decided to take the plunge with Rockville. However, they were disappointed when the amp arrived in terrible condition, and some didn't receive mounting screws. Despite that, we should give credit to Rockville for delivering a new unit to the customer in a couple of days. The product seems to have mixed reviews overall, and people should Consider their options before making the purchase.
