The Lippert 285318 RV Power Tongue Jack has a height of 28.761" with a 17.85" height from where it connects to the trailer to the top of the jack. It has a 30 amp fuse, and the battery connection wire's size complies with the RVIA codes. The jack is well-sealed and durable, lasting up to 7 years before water damages it. Maintenance includes cleaning, greasing legs, checking for corrosion, and monitoring ground continuity. There is no included hand crank, but a socket, ranging from 3/4" to 1 1/2", can operate the nut found under the jack's plastic cap. The jack makes a bad noise when it is fully retracted or extended, indicating that it has gotten to its limit. It fits a standard size for most campers with a 2 1/4" outside the tube and 2" inside the tube. The jack is cheaper than other brands, lifts higher and is faster, but it is slow, according to reviews. Some customers reported the jack suddenly stopped working as soon as they started using it, while others praised its lifting strength, quality, and ease of installation.
