The device works well, capturing four independent video devices and having better drivers than Blackmagic. It does not offer any outputs. The device is compatible with MacOS 10.12 and 10.13. The device is worth the extra money in comparison to other devices. Despite its high price point, the device is a great unit with consistent video and audio quality, and recognizing OBS, Skype and Google Hangouts. Its cooling fan can be quite loud, and your computer system may need to negotiate PCIe speed on boot. Complaints are limited to technical issues, such as troubleshooting, detecting the card by Windows, and getting the device to record each feed separately. Support from Magewell can be poor, with a lack of documentation and follow-up. Overall, the device provides a solution for capturing four simultaneous video sessions efficiently.
