The product maintains its color to a certain degree and can keep colors for two years. However, it is not suggested to wrap it around the exhaust to prevent the scrape from other parts, as it can wear off after some time. The product weighs 6.1 ounces and is printed in the USA without indicating where it originated. Some customers had negative experiences with the product, with one reporting that the wrap came off after just two trips because it was burnt through to the point where it could cause a fire.
