- It can bend rods up to 5/16-inch (8mm) in diameter and flat metal up to 1-1/8-inch (30mm). Not suitable for copper or small diameter/multiple turn projects.
- Constructed from hardened steel and pre-oiled for maximum strength and longevity, resisting corrosion.
- Can be mounted on a workbench or held in a vise with its 8 x 0.75-inch (20.3 x 1.9cm) steel wire bender tool base with predrilled 3/8-inch (1cm) diameter holes.
- Compact size of 8.5 x 2 x 3.5 inches (21.6 x 5.1 x 8.9cm), excluding the 12-inch (30.5cm) long lever handle with a rubberized plastic comfort grip.

This is a light duty bender that can be used for all kinds of metal rods from small to large, on aluminum to steel. It can be used to bend silver spoons for spoon rings, make small torsion springs with a good spring steel and bend silverware or stainless steel into bracelets or rings. The bender may struggle with intricate bends, tight circles, and 1/4" or thicker steel rod. The bender is well designed and packaged, and comes with extra blocks and pins for bending. It is bigger than expected and may require a washer to snug up the arm. There are reports of soft metal on the slide rail denting over time and important threads drilled and tapped oversized. Reviewers have replaced the threaded rod or added a washer to fix the bender. The directions are useless, but the bender is easy enough to figure out from the pictures.
