DARZU Scientific Calculators Editorial Review
The HP 35S is a reliable scientific calculator made by the trusty HP brand that has produced calculators for over 30 years. The calculator is programmable and can take repetitive calculations using either RPN or Algebraic mode. The keys are easy to use and the calculator has a lot of functions that are visually separated to avoid confusion. The 35S has passed the College of Engineering's tests and is permitted on the PE and FE exams. The display is clearer and easier to navigate than older models. It does take some time to programme, but this feature cuts down on time doing the same calculations repeatedly. HP has done a great job with this calculator, as it offers functionality, is useful and reminds users of the classic HPs that engineers have grown to love. Though it is a little difficult to get used to, the RPN entry system is well worth it. Customers appreciate the feel of the calculator and how it is a reliable tool for engineering with a competitive price compared to others on the market. One customer had a defective key but got a replacement within two days of notifying HP.
