However, the case is too sturdy and tight, making it difficult to open. It is also not recommended for use with braces. The mouthguard is comfortable and provides sufficient support, but two big problems include that it is too thick and holds the jaw slightly apart, which can be problematic when hit in the jaw. The hard outer cover also scratches the inside of the lips. Nevertheless, it fits well and is more stable, making it less likely to fall out.
