The motor can be controlled by a remote control's PWM. The maximum rotation angle of the servo is 300 degrees. It is recommended to use a linear power supply and not a switching power supply as the latter causes over-volting. Feedback on the product was mixed. One customer found the product to be of good quality while others found that the gears stripped out, killed their switching power supply, or found the product to be junk. Performing utilizing a linear power supply is a must to avoid surge power on a switching power supply. There is no protective enclosure available, and the product is not waterproof.
