The use of a 5-micron pre-sediment filter can prevent sediment and iron build-up that can cause the bulb to burn out faster. However, Viqua does not ship the two O-rings required to be changed when replacing the bulb, which is something to keep in mind. While some customers have reported a quick burning out of bulbs, others have had good results with the product, which leads to a lack of Consistency in the product's quality. The reviewers also complain about the lack of technical support, which can make it inconvenient for customers in case of any technical difficulties or malfunctions.
