The rack is designed to go against the cab wall, which acts as a backing, allowing you to angle the rods and secure them from tipping and spinning. If you want to move throughout the truck bed, an Inshore Support Bar can be used to act as the cab wall. The rack is perfect if you have a folding Tonneau cover because it sits below, and you can keep it in the back at all times. When you're ready to fish, you can fold one or two of the folds up and have your rods secured going out the back. The Offshore model is designed for Full-Size plus trucks with a 1.475 inch support bar that is capable of handling everything from small spinners to large offshore gear. It is recommended if you are using size 50+ reels. Handles 80 wides just fine. 130s aren't much bigger. Should be fine. Customers have reported that the product is great for transporting long fishing rods safely, and the rod holder fits in the truck bed great. However, one customer experienced rusting within a few weeks and noted that the rod holders themselves didn't entirely fit the butt ends of their rods.
