Sony Headphones Editorial Review
These Sony MDR-V6 headphones are well-regarded for their sound quality, but the DAC of the device they're used with can limit their potential. They're not recommended for use on planes, but can work for outdoor activities, though they may not stay in place during strenuous movement. They have no mic and the cord is not detachable. Replacement earpads can be obtained from Sony. Reviews suggest that while the sound quality is good through these headphones, the materials and Construction are not very sturdy, resulting in a short lifespan. Some wearers may find them uncomfortable, with the bar pressing into the top of their head or the ear cups being too small. As a budget pick, many reviewers find them worth the cost, but others suggest investing in better-quality headphones that won't break as quickly or cause discomfort.
