The Valterra BLACK Gravity Fresh Water Fill Hatch Inlet RV Trailer is a handy accessory for RV and trailer owners looking to refill their water tanks with ease. Made from durable materials, this fill hatch inlet is designed to fit snugly into existing installations, replacing older units with a new and efficient system. The hatch inlet extends out 1/8th of an inch beyond the outside of the vehicle, making it perfect for installation behind sliding doors. Though it does not come with screws, the hatch inlet is easy to install and replace other identical already installed ones with a good sealant around the outer flange. It doesn't come with hosing, but the hose from the vent hole or fill tank should already be there. Users can use 1 3/8 i.d. low pressure hose or 1 1/4 in its place, but the former works best. Though it lacks a one-way valve, the water pump would struggle without air being pulled into the tank, and it should come as no surprise that it does not add a hose to the vent hole and tank. In all, the Valterra BLACK Gravity Fresh Water Fill Hatch Inlet RV Trailer is a sturdy, reliable, and practical option for RV and trailer owners who want to refill their water tanks with ease.
