The paper roll has a wax type coating and accepts all inks and pencils without seeping through to the backside. It has a semi-matte finish and is easy to see through with no shine. Customers have stated that the paper is hard to tear, cuts beautifully and is excellent quality for the price. The yellow color is also said to make it easier to see the lines that need to be traced. However, one customer who used the paper for sketching with charcoal found it to be too thin and easy to cut through, but appreciated the unique color of the paper.
