It is easy to assemble and simple to operate with a lot of torque, making it perfect for planting shrubs, digging trenches or post holes. However, it is not without flaws. The power switch tends to stick in the on position, which can be dangerous if you are not expecting it. Some customers also found that drilling into the ground requires two people, especially if you are dealing with red clay soil. Additionally, it is important to note that the drill is designed to go no deeper than five to six inches at a time, or it may get stuck in the dirt, especially when dealing with clay dirt.
