The bundle includes two powered USB adapters to reduce battery use on host devices, and it allows the Nano 3 to be plugged into nearly any USB port in any configuration. However, there are no included adapters for phones that use USB-C, although a USB-C bundle will be available soon. The product can be shipped worldwide and be used with AIS receivers as well as with SDR++ software; however, an Upconverter like the Nooelec Ham-it-up converter is required for bands below 24MHz. It is not recommended for P25 trunking applications. The Nanos get hot and require heat sinks but can be used along with RTL-SDR as a source.
