Barge All Purpose Cement is a tacky glue that can be used for repairing leather coats and shoes, felts on waders, moldings, or attaching brass to leather. The glue dries in a light brown color and takes around 20 minutes to become tacky. The glue has excellent adhesion as long as the surface of the material is correctly prepped. It is not recommended for vinyl applications, gold-plated embellishments on suede shoes, or to fix a plastic shelf on the refrigerator door. The cement can withstand Arizona's heat and should be resistant to Texas's heat. The product is strong and quick-drying, and the user should wear gloves while working with it because it can be messy.
