The cord itself is fine, but the spool may break in the pack, making it hard to untangle. It works well for high-heat applications and is abrasive, so it may damage other materials if it rubs against them. It absorbs superglue easily to increase the strength of knots and splices. It is good for making assist hooks and friction-resistant. However, it is not suitable for fire toys.
