However, the assembly process can take up to two to three days for two people and requires organization and meticulousness to ensure a smooth assembly process. The cedar wood does chip and split easily, and the assembly manual recommends applying a protective coating or stain annually to ensure longevity of the set. Additionally, the monkey bars started chipping paint after nine years of use. Children will enjoy playing on the swings, slide, climbing wall, playhouse, and lookout tower. The Skyfort II is a good investment for families with younger children but may not be ideal for older children due to space constraints and outgrowing the set.
