The tool can read DTC's, reset check engine lights and read real-time sensor data, but it cannot read abs computers or airbag systems. The device comes with its own software for PC, and a user instruction guide, but there are other OBD scanner apps that work with the device too. Unlike some less expensive OBD-II Scanners, this tool shows data on the Torque app in real-time and without lag. One downside of the product is that it does not work with Apple products. The device does not store data; it serves as a 'wireless cable' that connects the car's OBD port to your phone or PC app, meaning all logs are stored on your phone in a folder as CSV files.
