The TRENDnet USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter is a USB-powered, black adapter that provides full duplex 2Gbps Ethernet speeds up to 1Gbps, and is compatible with both Windows and Mac. A customer with a Chromebook C720P had difficulty getting the TRENDnet adapter to function but it is compatible with the new Chromebook. The adapter works with 10/100 and 4 computers which had Windows 11, but it doesn't work with MacOS 12.3 (Monterey) nor Windows Server 2008 R2.The adapter was efficient for plug use with Sync Module Recovery on Fords. Additionally, it is recognized by the Nintendo Switch for use. However, it did not work with phones. Customer feedback adds that users should be aware that not all brands of ethernet adapters are equal.
