reMarkable Paper Editorial Review
The reMarkable tablet is a digital notebook for taking handwritten notes. It does not have great interface capabilities with file and cloud systems, but it has Wi-Fi capabilities to synchronize with the reMarkable app. One can write pages of handwritten text and convert them to typewritten text, but this feature does not yet have a high success rate. The reMarkable team is taking feedback and requests seriously, and thus may add new features in future updates. The pen tips do not last long, but the product comes with extra tips, which should last for years. Customer reception is mixed. Users who use the tablet for work have found it useful in taking notes and completing spreadsheets for inventory data. On the other hand, some users have received previously-used products, and are unhappy with the poor customer service response to their technical issues. The product functions well for note taking, but is considered by some to be too expensive for the features offered.
