This wire is long enough, but the tension won't be great, and it needs support every 40 inches- suitable as a room divider. The wire is about 1/16” thick, and curtain pockets can be hung without clips. The wire is braided and not hard to undo to remove curtains for laundering. The wire does not come with screws or nails, and there are some issues with the length adjustment, which is tricky. If you get a crimp or burr, it could be a challenge, but it's a small chore to remove and replace the wire. There’s no way to contact the seller to ask about a replacement wrench, so make sure the tools are included, and you don't cut the wire with wire cutters, but an angle grinder with an abrasive blade cutter. You can connect the base with a slightly smaller triangular base or not use it.
