The glue is ideal for joining smooth surfaces. If you are looking to fill gaps on wood, you might want to look for a product designed to fill gaps in wood that most hardware stores sell. According to the Q&A section, the glue works well with hard plastics and dries clear. However, it can smear the paint on the surface to which it is applied. The adhesive has held up for at least two years underwater on a snow globe, making it ideal for repairing tail lights if unhindered by UV degradation. The product has mixed reviews. While some customers claim it worked exactly as they needed it to, with one customer even calling it the "best fly tying cement, EVER," others claim it didn't work at all and wouldn't buy it again.
