Pulling out the wings manually activates the drop-down feature. Over 65 phrases are available in two play modes, with Buzz turning his head in live mode and repeating standard phrases in Toy mode. The voice quality is clear and loud, and Buzz acknowledges when he is lying down. However, the toy's sensor is a black hole in the middle of a light blue logo on the chest, which detracts from its design. Furthermore, it lacks other notable features such as a flip-open wrist communicator, glow-in-the-dark paint, laser on the arm, or name on the foot.
