One of the standout improvements of the PGP Ultra is its non-strippable drive and automatic arc return. This means that the turret can be turned without causing any damage, and it will automatically return to its original arc position.
This feature ensures reliable and consistent performance every time. The PGP Ultra also offers a wide range of nozzle options, with 34 to choose from and several radius choices. This versatility allows system installers to customize the sprinkler heads to suit any site and watering needs. Installation and adjustment are made easy with the included set of 12 nozzles (8 standard and 4 low angle) and the adjustment tool. The through-the-top arc adjustment and quick check arc mechanism provide convenience and efficiency. With an operating range of 17' to 47' and a flow rate of 0.36 to 14.8 GPM, the PGP Ultra is suitable for a variety of applications.
It has a recommended pressure range of 25 to 70 PSI and an operating pressure range of 20 to 100 PSI. The precipitation rates are approximately 0.4 in/hr, and the nozzle trajectory options are 25 degrees for standard and 13 degrees for low angle. In terms of dimensions, the overall height is 7-1/2", the pop-up height is 4", and the exposed diameter is 1-3/4". The inlet size is 3/4" female NPT. This product is a Hunter sprinkler head with a 3/4" NPT bottom inlet. It can be installed with various nozzle sizes to achieve different spray distances. There is no check valve built in, but can be purchased separately or with a valve that screws on ahead of the rotor. The weather seals on top of the sprinkler head have not caused any issues for one reviewer. The head does rotate and is 7" tall when down with a 4 1/2" riser.
