The Dekoni Audio Blue Fostex headphone is recommended for bass-driven music like rap, hip-hop, electronic, and dance genres. The semi-open headphones have a 50 Ohm impedance and are compatible with an Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt. The sound quality is impressive and the blue color looks unique. However, the pads that come with them are criticized for being too dark, and the headphones need a power amp to obtain the best sound. The package includes a 6ft cable terminating in 1/4 inch and 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter. The set also includes only one set of pads while it's supposed to have two. Customers reported that rattling sounds occur when moving, and the cable can break easily. However, the headphones are very comfortable in terms of design, and the bass is tuned perfectly. The soundstage is spacious but the highs are lacking - especially in female vocals.
