This is an editorial review of the book "Tank: The Definitive Visual History of Armored Vehicles Hardcover" which was published on April 4, 2017. The book includes crisp illustrations, detailed photos of the interiors of many armored vehicles, and a history of tanks with information about which nations had what at different times. It serves as an excellent reference book for military battle vehicles. It comes in a high-quality binding, making it durable. Despite the excellent contents, the glue binding used by Smithsonian to manufacture this book is a major concern. Unlike sewn binding, which makes a book more durable, glued binding reduces the longevity of the book, and so makes it challenging to read after multiple uses. Nonetheless, this book was highly received as a birthday gift for a 7 year old grandson, a good read for anyone interested in military battle vehicles and recommended as a reference book for tank modelers. It is also suitable for WWII buffs and those who love beautiful illustrations.
