It is safe for food contact once it has cured, and a customer has used it to repair a ceramic water fountain. However, it takes 72 hours to cure properly, so customers should be patient. It also has no antimicrobial additives, so it is not resistant to mold and mildew. The tube's nozzle may clog or dry, but most customers have not experienced this. One customer complained about the inadequate cap that the tube comes with, and another customer received a damaged tube that was difficult to use.
