The BRIO World Double Suspension Bridge is a 5 piece toy train accessory designed for kids age 3 and up. The bridge has a clearance height of 2 1/4 inches, which unfortunately isn't tall enough for some trains to pass under. The base of the bridge is not tall enough to run a track underneath it completely. The bridge is made of wood, while the red parts are made of plastic. The distance between the bridge supports is about 5 1/4 inches, and the distance between the actual suspension section is about 14 inches. The bridge does not make any train sounds. It is not guaranteed to fit Orbrium trains, but they may be interchangeable. The supports for the bridge are not sold separately. The kit comes with track, but additional track pieces may need to be purchased. The width of the bridge is only as wide as the wood track, so it may not be wide enough for Thomas motorized engines. Overall, while the bridge has some limitations, it is still a nice toy for kids to play with.
