Mayhems PC Coolant X1 Concentrate is a popular coolant for water-cooled PC rigs. Some customers reported issues with the quality and color of the product. The purple dye turned brown when mixed with water, and the orange dye was more brownish and smelt like tequila. However, others praised the product, citing its excellent cooling properties and lack of gunking, algae growth or vaporization, particularly when used with CPU and GPU water cooling. The product can last as much as three years or more if no aluminum is used. The dye in the X1 Eco line was reported to fade in less than 24 hours.
