The children’s motion sickness syrup has the active ingredient dimenhydrinate, which is similar to Benadryl, and can cause drowsiness after the initial reaction wears off. It has no weight chart but gives ml amounts for children aged 2 to 12 years. Some customers found the product too expensive while others found it very effective. One very satisfied customer, whose daughter vomits on every trip over a pass, says she used it for the first time and her daughter was fine the whole trip. Another customer says the product does not work and is too pricey. Some customers had tried different brands but found their kids reluctant to chew the pills. The syrup, being easy to consume, was therefore a welcome relief. The syrup seemed worth the price to a customer whose son suffers from car sickness, noting it has kept his son from getting sick throughout their four long trips so far. Another customer used it to prepare a six-month-old mini poodle for a long road trip, attesting it did its job for the most part. After trying out the syrup for her three-year-old daughter who gets very car sick, a customer found it finally worked, and the daughter drank her medicine with no issues. However, another customer complains about the taste, as her daughter threw up right after taking it, and has since refused to take it. One customer's five-year-old son gets super car sick on trips longer than half an hour, and the syrup did the trick without causing any vomiting or grimacing, and even put him to sleep during a long trip.
