What materials are used in the Gorilla Grip Pet Bowl Set?

The Gorilla Grip Pet Bowl Set is made from 100% BPA-free silicone for the feeding mat and stainless steel for the bowls. This combination ensures that both components are safe for your pets and resistant to harmful chemicals. The silicone mat is waterproof and easy to clean, while the stainless steel bowls are durable and rust-resistant. This makes the set ideal for both cats and dogs, especially those that tend to make a mess during feeding time.

How does the slip-resistant feature work?

The slip-resistant feature of the Gorilla Grip Pet Bowl Set is designed with a textured bottom that firmly grips the surface it's placed on. This ensures that the bowls stay in place even when your pet is eating vigorously. The raised edges of the mat further help contain any spills or food that may scatter beyond the bowls. It’s perfect for playful pets who tend to push their bowls around during meals, providing peace of mind for pet owners.

Can the mat catch spills and messes effectively?

Yes, the silicone feeding mat is designed with raised edges that contain any spills or messes, ensuring that water and food are kept within the mat's confines. This is especially useful for pets that tend to splash water while drinking or scatter food while eating. By having a designated area for their meals, you can maintain a cleaner feeding space in your home, making it beneficial for both your pets and your flooring.

Is this pet bowl set suitable for both cats and dogs?

Absolutely! The Gorilla Grip Pet Bowl Set is versatile and suitable for both cats and dogs of various sizes. The stainless steel bowls come in sizes that accommodate a range of pet breeds, making it an excellent choice for multi-pet households. Whether you have a small cat or a larger dog, this set provides the functionality and convenience that pet owners need.

What are the dimensions of the feeding mat and bowls?

The feeding mat typically measures around 19 inches by 12 inches, providing ample space for the bowls and preventing messes from escaping the mat. The stainless steel bowls often come in multiple sizes, which can vary depending on the package you choose. This size range ensures that you can select the appropriate dimensions for your pet's feeding needs, whether they require a small or large bowl.

How do I clean the Gorilla Grip Pet Bowl Set?

Cleaning the Gorilla Grip Pet Bowl Set is simple and convenient. The silicone feeding mat can be wiped down with a damp cloth or rinsed under water, and it is also dishwasher safe for a more thorough cleaning. The stainless steel bowls can be washed by hand or placed in the dishwasher as well. This ease of maintenance ensures that you can keep your pet's feeding area sanitary without much effort.

Does the silicone mat have any odor when first used?

While some silicone products may initially have a slight odor, the Gorilla Grip Pet Bowls are designed to be odor-free, ensuring a pleasant experience for both you and your pets. If any odor is detected, it typically dissipates after the first wash. The high-quality materials used also minimize any chance of unwanted smells, making this mat a reliable option for maintaining a fresh feeding environment.

How does the water-catching feature work?

The water-catching feature of the Gorilla Grip Silicone Feeding Mat is achieved through its waterproof design and raised edges. This means that if your pet spills water while drinking, it will be contained within the boundaries of the mat. The soft silicone material is effective in catching any excess water or food crumbs, allowing for easier cleanup and preventing messes on your floor.

Can I use these bowls for both dry and wet food?

Yes, the stainless steel bowls in the Gorilla Grip Pet Bowl Set are perfect for serving both dry and wet food. Their sturdy construction makes them suitable for a variety of pet diets, ensuring that you can cater to your pet's preferences without worrying about damaging the bowl. The usability for both food types also allows you to easily alternate between meals, making this set versatile for everyday feeding.

GORILLA GRIP Basic Bowls CWBD-ad871 Editorial Review

**** The product in focus is a set of quality metal bowls paired with a functional feeding mat, which has garnered a largely positive reception among customers. Users appreciate the thoughtful design features, such as unique finger slots that simplify bowl removal and a non-slip mat that effectively prevents movement during meals. Many reviewers emphasized how the mat stays securely in place, allowing pets, from dogs to cats, to enjoy their food and water without the risk of spills typical of traditional bowl sets. Size Considerations emerged as a theme in the feedback. While some users found the bowls sufficient for their medium-sized dogs, others felt they might not suit larger breeds, noting that even the largest size does not hold as much water or food as expected. This variance in size has resulted in additional purchasing decisions for some owners, highlighting a potential limitation for those with larger pets. Cleaning the products was cited as a significant advantage, as both the bowls and mat are dishwasher safe. This ease of maintenance resonates well with busy pet owners. The mat’s ability to catch stray bits of kibble adds a layer of convenience, making it a practical addition to any pet owner's setup. Despite a few criticisms regarding bowl capacity and size appropriateness for different breeds, the overall impression is one of satisfaction. Customers indicated that they would recommend this product to others, reflecting its effectiveness and design. **
