Botley 2.0 is an educational toy that teaches young children the basics of coding. It comes with a remote programmer and can be set to different modes - line following and obstacle detection. Botley requires three AAA batteries, and the remote programmer requires two AAA batteries. It is made in China and has very limited assembly. The set does not come with rechargeable batteries, and the manufacturer recommends using lithium-ion batteries. One downside to this product is that there aren't many accessories for it at this time. Based on customer reviews, Botley 2.0 seems to be a hit with kids aged 3 to 6 who enjoy the tasks and challenges it provides. However, some customers have reported defective units that either stopped working or were unable to follow coding commands. In particular, some customers reported issues with the black line following mode. Some customers also felt that the product's price was too high for its reliability.
