Though it works flawlessly in manual mode and with the XH2S, the reviewer experienced issues with the X100V in TTL mode where roughly 50% of the photos were completely underexposed with no flash. The issue was resolved when switched to manual flash mode. The manufacturer acknowledged a known issue with the X100V and this flash in TTL mode. Another reviewer had issues with the flash unit Constantly cycling and recycling through the boot-up process after only a few months. A third reviewer found it to be a compact flash that worked overall.
