The bulb cannot be replaced, but the battery is easily replaceable with a Barebones specific Li-ion battery 2-18650. Overall, customer reception of this product seems mixed. Some reviewers were impressed with the brightness and rechargeable feature of the lantern, and found it to be useful during power outages. Others, however, thought that the price was unrealistic and wouldn't repurchase it. One reviewer expressed disappointment with the package being open and the instruction sheet missing.
