The gold color is described as shiny and metallic, but not as shiny as some people would like. The vinyl is easy to cut and weed and the adhesive side is also gold-colored. However, some people have reported that the vinyl is thinner and harder to weed than other brands they have used before. The vinyl package comes wrapped in plastic with easy to remove tape, leaving no residue behind.
