If used, one must operate them at 100% for substantial periods at other times. This AC voltage regulators would also fit a small 115vac fan with a 6-inch (150mm) blade. Another great use of the devices is to control the speed of a 1/15 hp power motor at 110V. The product has been reported to have a wobbling heatsink and variable potentiometer too small; that it failed after intensive usage, and that this will not work with AC single-phase motors. However, with careful installation and adjustments, the product would work fine for its specific use cases of fan and series wound motor control.
