LASE Power Amplifiers Editorial Review
I installed one of these in a Mackie SRM-450v1 that had a blown amp. The install was easy and it powered up and sounds great. The amp is certainly more powerful than the original that it replaced- nice headroom. It does have a slightly different sound quality, but I found it to be pleasant - different but still good. I did notice that I had to turn up the high end a little more than usual, but maybe that's subjective. It does have some onboard DSP which helps adjust the sound. Overall, it's a great replacement for the original amp.
