The product sets hard within 8 hours and fully cures after 48 hours. Some users have used Pratley Steel Putty for various applications such as repairing an electrical fixture, restoring steel that was rusted, rebuilding a bakelite handle for a stovetop griddle, and connecting or reinforcing aluminum tubes.
