The Garmin Edge 530 is a performance GPS cycling computer that comes with a cable for connection to a computer, a base for a bike and instructions. It has the breadcrumb feature to be used for off-road off-grid use and real-time heart rate display. The maps available/included depend on the country while additional maps can be downloaded by connecting the device to a phone or wifi. The computer does not display real-time power unless connected to a power meter. While the 530 does not have a touchscreen, it has dynamic performance monitoring and popularity routing. The Garmin 530 can be used with a heart rate monitor, and the monitor doesn't have to be mounted on the same bike with the computer. The Garmin Edge 830 is similar, but it has a touchscreen and allows for typing in an address and routing to it, which the 530 does not.
